1. Do you work on computer problems outside of Jefferson County government?

No, we are dedicated to servicing only the computer systems within the Jefferson County infrastructure.

2. What is the extent of the county's computer systems?

The county computer systems comprise approximately 220 desktops and laptops along with 400 other devices which also require an IP address. The county also maintains approximately 40 servers both physical and virtual which support every county department. The connectivity for each of these systems is supported by a fiber optic network which ties each of the county buildings (such as Ambulance, Courthouse, Health, etc.) together.
