1. I want to start or relocate or expand a business in Jefferson County, what do I do?: First, arrange to visit with the director. This may involve discussing past experiences, availability of financing, credit history, site acquisition, incentive programs, etc. We can facilitate all those needs. Contact Information.

2. Are there grants to start a business?: The best answer to that is no. There are, however, many ways to finance a business, whether it's a start-up or an existing business. To learn more about financing your business, please contact the Economic Development director.
