2. How old does a vehicle need to become Antique?

35 Years Old.

3. What do I do if the State of Kansas is holding my Title?

Bring or Mail the Lien Release to your County Treasurers office, or you can hand carry the Lien Release to the Docking State Office Building. 915 SW Harrison St. Topeka, Kansas 66612. On the 1st Floor, titles and registrations.

4. I did not get my Renewal Notice for my motor vehicle tags?

All renewals are mailed to you by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. If you did not receive your renewal, please bring your last year's registration into the Treasurer's office and we can renew your tags with that information. We can also renew your tags if you know your tag numbers. As renewal notices are not forwarded because of a change in address, please be sure to check the address we have on file while you are in the office.

Always be sure to bring your current proof of insurance with you when doing any motor vehicle transaction.

5. When are Heavy Truck Tags Due?

Renewals are mailed from the State and the expiration date shown is December 31st. You actually have until February 28th, 2011 to renew your tags.

6. How much did I pay in property taxes for my vehicles?

Motor vehicle property taxes are listed on your registrations. If you do not have your registration, you may go to any County Office and file for a duplicate registration. The cost is fifty cents. If you have renewed your vehicles in the months of Feb, March or April of this year and or transferred your tag, you will need to call the office.

7. When are property taxes due?

The first half is due December 20 and the second half is due May 10.
