May 18th - The Governor for the State of Kansas, Laura Kelley, directed by Executive Order 20-31 has ordered Kansas into phase 1.5 of the AD Astra: A Plan to Reopen Kansas 

May 4th Order - restrictions on restaurants opening

Local Order March 26th - Gathering to 10 or Less

Local Order March 23rd - Closes certain businesses to the public and limits mass gatherings to a total of ten (10) people.

January 5th 2021 Press Release - JCHD is providing COVID testing by appointment. KDHE is now completing most of the Case Investigations and Contact Tracing for Jefferson County.  This allows JCHD the ability to focus on testing and vaccinations, once more vaccine becomes available.

December 4th, 2020 Press Release  - quarantine guidelines will allow asymptomatic individuals that have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 to be released from quarantine after day 7 with negative PCR test or after day 10 without a test. Note, this guidance is for asymptomatic individuals.
