1. Does Auxiliary Services rent out spray equipment for the control of noxious weeds?

Yes we do. They are self-powered units which, on a low-wind day, give a 40-foot spray swath. They are 150 gallon units. They use a pin hitch similar to a tractor drawbar. They rent from business day to business day. The current cost is $25. The renter is responsible for the machine while in their care.

2. Will Auxiliary Services come to my house and pick up hazardous waste?

No. We accept it here several times throughout the week. We do occasionally have a city clean-up day. In extreme cases we may pick items up.

3. Can the Noxious Weed Department come onto my property without permission?

Yes we can. The State of Kansas authorizes the Noxious Weed Department to go wherever it needs to throughout it's county to do its job. Such as inspections and investigating possible infestations. The Noxious Weed Department tries when possible to let the landowner know, however there are many properties and owners in the county. If there is a problem we will always contact you with directions on what to do.
